Ingredients

100 grams glutinous rice flour

70 grams sweet potato (yellow), boiled and mashed or grated

80 grams water

2 grams pandan paste

100 grams grated coconut

pinch of salt

50 grams grated or chopped palm sugar

Method

Mix the grated coconut and pinch of salt and steam for 5 minutes
and let it cool completely.

Boil sweet potato till fully cooked, mashed or grate while still hot.
In a bowl combine hot mashed potato and glutinous rice, mix it
using spatula.

In a jar mix pandan paste and water, add more paste if you want
more darker green colour. Add into sweet potato and glutinous
rice mixture, mix using spatula once roughly incorporated, use
your hand and knead till nice and smooth dough.
Bring a pot of water and boil, take small piece of dough about 15
grams, flatten lightly, fill the center of dough with chopped or
grated palm sugar just enough to enclose. Roll it in your palms to
form a smooth ball, repeat the same till all the dough used up can
make atleast 16 pieces.

Cook the index index balls in boiling water, when they float to
the surface, remove them with slotted spoon and shake off the
excess water. Coat the index index with grated coconut and
served immediately.
